Sleep

It's amazing what a little sleep can do for your body. I've been unable to sleep for more than about 2 hours at a time for a week now. Well, last night I put in earplugs and covered my eyes and made sure Pete was going to take care of the girls if they needed anything. I was able to sleep for about 10 hours last night! Yay!

  1. I know what you mean. Now I understand why they use sleep deprivation as a way of torture. I fall into that sleep patten of 2-4 hours a sleep for weeks at a time. It's miserable. Glad you got some rest.

  2. When I sleep with ear plugs and a sleep mask I sleep very well. Those who know me well would never have imagined that I could sleep until noon (when visiting Andrea in Dallas, with lunch at the Rabbi's home scheduled for 12:30), or until 10am with grandchildren running around me playing (when visiting Hester in Amarillo). Maybe Pete can be on duty from time to time so you can use these magic "sleep" tools to get the sleep you need to survive motherhood.
